Sonko accused of disrupting Kajiado Central election

Nairobi - Bribery allegations have hit the Kajiado Central by election, with the CORD coalition accusing its Jubilee counterparts of bribing voters.
The allegations were leveled at Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko who has been moving around the constituency and visiting poll stations.
ODM communications director Philip Etale led the assault on Sonko, claiming that he was involved in bribery and intimidation.
" Sonko driving in a convoy of 7 vehicles moving from polling station to another intimidating voters," he tweeted.
On the ground, ODM director of elections Junet Mohammed was also critical of Sonko and his activities.
" We have received reports that Sonko is intimidating voters. We will report to the relevant authorities.
The elections kicked off 6 AM in the morning and will see Jubilee Alliance Party JAP's Patrick Tutui taking on CORD"s Elijah Memusi Kanchori and Kunchai Kashuma who is running as an independent candidate.
