Nairobi - Infidelity among married couples cannot be downplayed. Recently, the social media was awash with debates on who is more prone to infidelity between ladies and men.
Men say women are more susceptible to cheat on their husbands while women say they are faithful and that men are promiscuous by nature, to an extent of likening them with dogs.
Statistically, 50% of marriages are on the rocks and the chief cause is infidelity. So, what are the signs that your man could be cheating?
He switches off his phone while with you
If you man used to leave his phone next to you and all of a sudden begins to take caution, then he might be playing with you. He is afraid that the other woman might call in your presence. When he starts talking about the need to maintain privacy, that should sound a warning bell. He might take other precautionary measures such as securing his phone with a password, locking his photos, and deleting all his messages.
He becomes defensive when faced with questions
If he becomes defensive when asked simple questions like: "Who was on the phone”, there is need to become suspicious. Men are known to be defensive in nature when cornered.

Change in his sex life
Every married woman knows how her her man behaves in the bedroom and if there is a strange or sudden change, it is obvious that he is carrying tackle. They can give any kind of spurious excuses but if you are keen enough, you might realize that he no longer wears his wedding ring.
Coming home late at night
Any investment that a man makes is always given the best shot. So if your man who used to be home before 9pm starts coming home late at night and says: "I was out drinking with friends”, then know there is something wrong. This is a common trend after the birth of a child.
Being disrespectful, cruel and secretive
If your man starts comparing you with other women and stops being appreciative like before, you have a reason to worry. If he starts hurling insults at you when you ask for money, then your territory has been encroached by the other woman.
