Signs that your best friend wants to date you

Nairobi - So you have had a guy friend whom you are into and you kind of think he is also into you but you can’t really tell?
You are best of friends, and your friends think you have a thing!
He is that guy you feel comfortable with and when storms come your way you know you can count on him to walk you through.
You go for picnics, parties and movies together. Maybe he is just nice - that’s what you think but to him he is absolutely wishing you two were a couple!
Here are a few indicators that he wants to date you:
Yes you hang out a lot, perhaps much more
You're just friends as you tell your friends and yes, friends do lunch together, camp together and watch movies together. But for him, he just likes it when you are just the two of you, hanging out for hours, with him silently wishing at some point he could hold you.

He values communicating with you
This is something a good friend should do, but even really good friends can forget each other or just get caught up and not reply to a message. But he's super invested in you seeing how much he cares about you, so he makes sure to chat with you every time.
He is 'single’
He never talks about his crush because to him, other women basically don't exist. You know he's single, attractive and cool, and there's no way there aren't girls who are into him but you definitely never hear about them. And if he does mention girls, it's always with the underlying sentiment that he hasn't found the right one yet-of course he has, and that person is you.
Your hugs are a bit more affectionate
If your hugs used to be the casual ones, and now they're longer and more affectionate, it's because feelings are there. Don’t act dump - he has intense feelings for you.
