Sex on the first date...
29 September 2014, 13:29
Nairobi - It has always been a
bone of contention, when should a woman have sex with a guy, or to re-phrase, how soon after meeting.
As a woman, should you employ the 90-day rule as Steve
Harvey suggests or do you have your own timeline. It really can make or break
the relationship. Depending on what relationship you are looking for.
Having sex on the first date can turn your first date into a
one-night stand because chances are both of you may not want to see the other
Sometimes it can all
be a lot of pressure for those not sure of what to do because the rules can be
a bit confusing.
At the end of the day it is about personal feelings, it may
have been a first date but you knew each other for a long time and in such a
situation, the date is just a formality and if both of you get carried away,
then it is your choice. If a man wants to stand on the pedestal and judge the
woman for having sex with him on a first date, yet he was an active participant
then he should re-evaluate himself.

If he did not feel like it was time to do
so, then he always had the right to call a halt to things. I mean, he could have taken the decision.
Sex is always about
connection, so if the both of you feel you have it and it ends up in the
bedroom on the first day, then why not? But you do not force it in order to
better your chances with someone, as it can end up badly.
So, thing is..
1. Form a
connection first, then proceed, if it takes three months, a year, as long as
you do not rush something then it works out. If you force it, it will all go
down the drain. At the end of the day, you still hear about people who got
married after a one-night stand, sex and the timing of it is never the issue
but connection with the other party.
