Sex mistakes Kenyan men make

22 October 2014, 14:43 Shakila Alivitsa

Nairobi - At times the term romance confuses even me, a self proclaimed romantic. Is it about the guy buying flowers every day, or is it bending on my hand and kissing it instead of shaking it. If that is it then I do not want it because it will just make things awkward for me and I would also not know what to do with those flowers. I would rather shoes any day. Is it cooking for me? I do not want that either because we would end up fighting in my territory. Maybe being romantic is about the candle lit dinners and going for the movies but I am still figuring it out. I would say opening the door or me and pulling out my chair but that is being a gentleman.

Then there is the sex part and the consensus is that there definitely is unromantic sex and the Kenyan guy is an expert at it. Or maybe I have not been out and about that much. But I will tell you about what my fellow Kenyan women have been telling me.

No appetizers just the main course

It is just like eating Ugali with mboga or nyama. You do not need hors de voresto lead up to it. Just rush the Ugali into your mouth and you are done. That is how sex for most of you Kenyan men is, no foreplay just get in there and get out. Unless you are a version of a black Brad Pitt, Denzel or some other hot person; women need foreplay. They just do not get hot for you.

Shut Up and Drive

Just in and out, in and out until you are done. Give room for further intimacy unless you are paying for it; which then just something else is. Be able to read her movements and let them guide you to what her expectations are.

Its just about sex

No it is not. That is why you are termed unromantic. No calling or texting not even an impromptu compliment to let her know that you are thinking about her. Putting the idea to the woman that you are doing just that, excites her and will make her be more open to you at the end of the day so you will not have to start at square one. On the other hand shutting down then coming at her abruptly like a pit bull after a hard day will just earn you a quizzical look.
