This according to tourism players in within the county is aimed to attract both local and international tourists. Most of the tourists according to the schedule of event will mainly come from the local market.

Tourism executive Joab Tumbo on Monday raised concerns over the recent attacks of foreign tourists murdered at Mombasa assuring that tight security for both local and foreign tourists during the event will be upgraded.

"Inspectorate department is under the county government, they will also have their part to play to ensure security for all visitors,” Tumbo said.

Insecurity has been termed as the only challenge that is greatly impacting the tourism sector at the entire  coastal region.
