Sauti Sol win MTV award

Nairobi - For those of you who took time to vote for Kenya’s finest
musical act, Sauti Sol, your vote didn’t go to waste.
They came out to announce Thursday that they had beaten all their
competition to be nominated as the Best African Act MTV Europe Awards. They
beat the likes of Davido and Diamond to emerge victorious in this category.
Their hard work paid off after they took their time to make sure their fans had
voted by making creative videos and posting them online.
Not only did they win
the hearts of their fans through their music, but their flair as well.
They however still need your votes as they have now moved up
into the final round as one of the 10 nominees in the International World Act
category. So far, they are set to go up against Mohammed Assaf and YoYo Honey
Singh, with the others still pending.
