STL throws it down in Biashara Remix

18 July 2014, 15:06 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - The long wait is finally over with the release of STL's Biashara remix video.

The video which has been in the rumour mill for months now has single handedly earned itself the right to be called the most anticipated video of 2014 and it has not disappointed. The original track was nothing short of amazing, STL changing the face of Kenyan rap through it, and taking Kenyan music international. The remix I dare say is even better with the addition of kings of rap, Kristoff and Khaligraph Jones.

Biashara remix encompasses what the Kenyan spirit is, with the country being the center of trade in East Africa, with one of the fastest growing economies, infrastructure and technological based systems in the world. “Biashara” which is the Swahili word for business is all the people of Kenya do, and through this song, the zeal associated with Kenyan trade is captured.

The video itself is pretty good, most of it being shot on Biashara street, which is one of the busiest trading streets in the whole of the central business district. It features everything that a song about business and money should feature like bundles of money, expensive cars and liquor to mention but a few.
