Ruto knows Raila did not fix him at the ICC, claims Nyong'o

Nairobi - Deputy president William Ruto knows very well that It was not the Orange Democratic Movement ODM but the party of national unity PNU that fixed him at the International Criminal Court ICC, Kisumu Senator Anyang’ Nyong’o has said.
Nyong’o said that those who were in PNU before and after the 2007 General Elections should carry their own cross of fixing Ruto and stop blaming him and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga over the same.
He said that it is an open secret that former and current top government officials in the Kibaki government and the current government were behind the fixing of Ruto.
“Ruto knows the people who fixed him at The Hague and the people who procured and paid fake witnesses to nail him and that is why he has not responded to Moses Kuria’s allegations because he knows the truth,” said Nyong’o.
“ If at all Ruto knew that Raila fixed him them he would have called Raila to testify at the Hague and those linking Raila and me to Ruto’s woes are simply wasting their time and energy,” he added.
Nyongo called on Ruto to force President Uhuru Kenyatta to sack all officials who are serving in his government and who were part of the team that fixed him at the Hague.
“Some of the people you see kneeling in prayer rallies and pointing fingers at Raila are the same people who gave false testimonies against Ruto to the Waki commission and what they are simply doing is shading crocodile tears to please the DP,” he said.
The Kisumu Senator said that he and CORD leader Raila Odinga were ready and willing to testify in defense of Ruto at The Hague any-time they will be called to do so.
