Ruto consoles survivors of Garissa terror attack

Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto visited Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) to console students who survived the Garissa University College terror attack.
While the DP wished the 14 students quick recovery, he was at pain to hear the sad and painful experience the student went through before their narrow escape from the attackers.
He assured the affected patients and the hospital that the government will support their medical care.
The DP thanked KNH medical team for their efforts in facilitating care to the students who were admitted to the hospital after the deadly attack by al Shabaab militants.
KNH received 25 students and one police officer who were flown from Garissa between 2nd and 4th April 2015. Eight students have been treated and discharged.
