Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto has congratulated President Uhuru Kenyatta for the termination of his case at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
ICC judges agreed on Friday to withdraw charges against President Kenyatta, as requested by Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda last year.
“Congratulation President Uhuru Kenyatta for the termination of your fraudulent case at the ICC. God is great,” Ruto said.

Ruto whose case, together with that of his co accused Joshua Sang is still going on at the ICC has maintained that he is innocent of the charges leveled against him regarding his role in the chaos that erupted in the country after the disputed 2007 presidential election.
According to Ruto, the ICC will terminate his case, just like President Kenyatta has been cleared.
