Nakuru - Residents of Nakuru town have been warned against any sexual display acts at the Nyayo Gardens public park in the town.
County environment executive, Richard Kipsang’ said that cases of indecent sexual display acts at the park have increased and are becoming increasingly common.
Speaking Monday morning at his office, Kipsang’ said that the county government will not allow the public gardens to be used as a display of moral decadence.
“people have turned Nyayo Gardens into a secret room for romancing and doing other intimate things and the sad thing is that the people doing these things are grownups who have brains and who know very well that doing what they are doing in public is wrong. If people want to have their intimate sessions they must go and do it at the right place not at the public park because if we get them they will face the full force of the law for what they are doing is against the law,” he said.

Kipsang’ further added that no person will be allowed at the public park after 7.00 PM.
“You will be shocked to find people still at the park as late as seven doing their things when they should be headed home,” he said.
Nyayo Gardens is one of the two main public parks in Nakuru town which acts as a meeting and resting place for many people who are either jobless or can’t afford to meet in a hotel.
