Religious leaders in Nakuru County have called on all Kenyans to remain calm and wait for the verdict of Supreme Court.
The men of cloth also urged the youths not to be used by politicians to cause mayhem saying Kenya was far more important than an individual.
Speaking on Monday in Nakuru, clerics spokesperson David Omido said that Kenyans should be ready to accept the court ruling and respect the rule of law.
“Kenyans should remain peaceful as we continue to wait for the ruling of the Supreme Court and our youth should not be used by anyone,” said the pastor.
The church leaders further said that they will respect the court ruling and continue to unite Kenyans.
He also called on all Christian faithfuls to continue praying for the country saying Kenya has come a long way from the events that marred the 2007 general elections.
