Raila's true Statesmanship should be rewarded
22 April 2013, 12:31
Former Kenya's Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga steps and lips are being watched locally and internationally and he seems pretty aware of it.
The global statesman image he has carved for himself is heritage enough for planet Earth, and I am glad political dust on him is naturally being dusted off by his distracted political rivals.
Though so many huddles have been placed his way, I believe his inner sight can visualize them and enable him bypass them to his destined worthy cause.
Some politicians, both local and international, already know the beauty and value of the trophy he deserves.
Many are not happy, hence the blockage cause.
One of the blockage scripted and ready to be acted up on, is to make sure he returns to active politics as a member of 11th parliament. While there, his name will be soiled by the reigning authority and his political enemies.
Raila Odinga's image in Kenya will dwarf the authority of successive sitting presidents if he stays out of elective Kenya's politics but, remain politically correct and relevant.
He passed the first huddle on Saturday during the burial of former Knut Secretary General, when he held the president's hand and guided him through hostile political environment of Luo Nyanza.
This is what the world is watching. I know the Inspector General of Police and National Security Intelligence lost the act. They will try again.
Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga already portrays a Nobel Prize Laureate character even before he gets it. He is the only statesman from East and Central Africa.
