Nairobi - Members of the Jubilee coalition have claimed that CORD leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka have grabbed land belonging to several government agencies.
Led by nominated MP and National Alliance Party TNA chairman Johnston Sakaja, the MPs claim that they have evidence that public parcels of land have been allocated to the two irregularly.
The MPs said that the National Lands Commision must investigate how the National Youth Service NYS land in Yatta, land belonging to Ramogi Institute in Kisumu
and the Kenya Airports Authority KAA in Bondo were allocated to the two.
" They have now anointed themselves the high priests in the fight against corruption but it is clear they have been pointing with one finger and four other fingers have been pointing back at them and so we want them to come clean and explain," Sakaja said Monday in Nairobi.
MPs Dennis Waweru of Dagoretti South, Ndung’u Gethenji from Tetu and Samuel Gichigi of Kipipiri also asked that the two leaders be investigated over the matter.
" The CORD leaders must not meddle and interfere with the fight against corruption that is led by the Jubilee Coalition," Gichigi said.
The two opposition leaders are yet to respond to the allegations.
