Every Kenyan has been keenly following all the ICC proceedings, with interest of a vulture. When any of the big shots speak, we hear and listen, and unveil the hidden meanings.
Of late, Raila has broken the gourd and spoken his heart out without even thinking we were there during the post election violence. Apparently, we are still bewildered by the twist that the matter has taken.
Are we supposed to think that Raila is the cleanest of all big shots? Yes, Raila is the cleanest if anything did not happen in 2007. He is the angel of peace love and unity. I wish it were so.
He has reprimanded the ICC four with much dynamism and vigor, as if he was out of the country when everything happened. As if those posters and signs reading “NO RAILA NO PEACE” carried by his supporters back then were meant for another Ugandan Raila.
Lucky for him, everything has been rotating with him being the axis which we think doesn’t exist.
When I hear him speaking about Rutto and Uhuru, I tend to try figure out why he is not mentioned in the case, even if he is a premier.
He is very lucky that his Excellency Mwai Kibaki doesn’t like cagey games and pulling rope games.
Recently, he said that he accepted to be defeated by Mwai Kibaki in the elections which brought violence in Kenya. Then why did he fight for the premier seat?
If really he accepted defeat? Why did he say that his supporters will go out on the streets demonstrating? And by the way, he said that Kenyans had voted for him, that it is Kenyans who had made him win the elections; which Kenyans? Of which country, because am in Kenya and will always be.
