Nairobi - CORD leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula have been praised for delivering the Kajiado Central by election victory.
The election which was won by ODM's Elijah Memusi Kanchori last week was a pivotal one for the opposition in the face of competition from the ruling Jubilee coalition.
And thus the praise from Memusi who spoke of his delight in securing the big win for the party.
He was full of praise for the three leaders during his maiden speech in parliament.
" I thank everyone who made it possible for me to be here in this honourable house," he said.
" I salute Raila Odinga for his devotion to Kenyan politics. I salute Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula for their support during the tough campaign process.
" To the Maa community, we have affirmed we are masters of our own destiny and not experiments for political parties and money, he said.
The election victory will however be contested in court by the Jubilee Alliance Party JAP after they claimed several discrepancies in the poll result.
