the Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday 16th
April 2015) has been postponed to a later date. We regret any inconvenience caused, the statement said Wednesday.
During the trip, Raila was to condole with families and speak
with them in a bid to find the root cause of the attacks, Etale said in his earlier statement Tuesday.
The poor state of security in the area continues to cause tension among
the locals leading to the closure of schools and markets for fear of
banditry attacks, slowing down the local economy," he said.
Etale blamed the government for taking little or no measures to arrest the situation in the region.
" This is despite the assurance by the government that insecurity has been curbed and life back to normalcy," he added.

killed late last week in the latest killing purge in the region.
last year, over 200 people have died in the region, including plenty of
