Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga will meet leaders from the Gusii region in a bid to woo them to support the Okoa Kenya referendum campaign.
The CORD leader is seeking support for the Referendum campaign which is now approaching its business end and is seeking a strategy to counter the gains made by the Jubilee coalition in the region.
" ODM Leader Raila Odinga is scheduled to meet Gusii Leaders at Orange House Nairobi this Wednesday starting 11 am, Orange Democratic Movement ODM Communications Director Philip Etale said Monday.
The Jubilee coalition has made gains in the region, especially with President Uhuru Kenyatta offering many persons from the Gusii region public positions.
The President named 6 persons from the region to the public service, all members of Gusii kingpin Simeon Nyachae's family.
The Referendum will see the region go to battle between the two parties, in what is bound to be a titanic battle.
