As the parents and the pupils gear up for a new term, we hope that our support has lightened the financial burden of the parents and guardians and encouraged the children to study hard and achieve more,” he added.
On his part, the school’s Head teacher Boaz Kamoni thanked Airtel for the timely gesture and asked other organizations to consider helping the school as it faces various challenges including poor infrastructure. He stressed that the support will go a long way in helping the students concentrate on their studies.
“On behalf of the school, I’d like to thank Airtel for the donation. The children are excited with their new backpacks, as we begin a new term. We believe that the bags would go a long way to motivate these children to learn hard since most of them come to school without bags,” Kamoni said.
