Bondo - Preparations for the burial of the late Fidel Odinga at their family shrine in Bondo are almost complete.
The burial Committee chairman in Bondo, Ouma Onyango who is also the Siaya Deputy Governor, said preparations were in top gear as they were putting final touches on how to receive and feed an estimated 10 000 people expected to attend the burial.
He said the Bondo funeral committee was working in close coordination with the Nairobi team and the preparations were synchronized and in tandem with the plan.
He said the casket bearing the remains of the late Fidel is expected in Bondo by Friday the 10th of January for an overnight stay at the family home in Opoda farm before heading for the burial ceremony at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University playground.
