Pregnancy complications kill ODM official

Nairobi - Orange Democratic Movement ODM leader Raila Odinga has mourned the death of a budding youth leader who passed on after pregnancy complications.
Mourine Tata died last week, July 8 after developing complications following delivery.
Tata, who had plans of vying for political space in Nairobi's Makadara constituency has been mourned as a fighter and a hardworking person, who was not afraid to speak her mind.
She will buried Saturday in Tongaren Sub-County, Bungoma.
"Tata's demise is a terrible blow for the ODM family. We have lost a vibrant lady
who worked hard to ensure democracy in the country," ODM party leader Raila Odinga said.
ODM National Youth coordinator Benson Musungu also said that Makadara women and youth will miss out on the leadership of a fabntastic human being.
" It is a big loss for ODM and also the country. We are extremely sad for her family at this tough time," he said during a harambee in aid of Tata's funeral arrangements at City Hall,
Nairobi on Wednesday.
She is survived by a week old baby.
