Preacher beheaded a fortnight after breaking up with wife

Murang'a - Grief and somber mood has engulfed residents of Kahuti village in Murang’a County after a headless body of a preacher was found lying in a pool of blood.
The preacher was allegedly beheaded on Tuesday night at his house, according to police reports.
While confirming the incident, Kahuro Deputy County Commissioner, Patrick Muli said the assailants beheaded the man of God at around 10.00pm and vanished without stealing anything from his house.
The body of 58-year-old man was found lying in a pool of blood by his neighbour who had gone to pick his phone from the deceased's house.

The administrator however said police are yet to arrest any suspect in connection to the murder though intensive investigations have been launched.
He further asked locals to volunteer relevant information to help police in their investigations.
Residents said the deceased was living alone after separating with his wife two weeks ago. She left with their daughter.
The body was taken to Muriranja district hospital Mortuary.
