Pope Francis to visit Nairobi slums

Nairobi - Pope Francis will meet and pray with slum dwellers in Nairobi during his visit to the country.
The Pope will visit various slums in the city including Kangemi where he is expected to pass messages of hope to residents of the areas.
He will arrive in Kenya November 25.
" The holy father will visit the poor and spread messages of hope to them," a statement from the Vatican accompanying the notice read in part.
Pope Francis will also visit Uganda and Central Africa Republic during his visit to the continent too.
He will hold mass at a yet to be named University and will also address Kenyans.
Preparations for his arrival are in top gear.
" Preparations for the Pope's visit are in top gear and arrangements to welcome him are being finalized," a committee set up to deal with his visit said in a statement.
