Poll shows Uhuru, Ruto popularity rising

Nairobi - A poll shows that the popularity of president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto is rising.
The poll, released Friday by Ipsos Synnovate shows that the president has a 67% popularity rating with Ruto on 63%.
The rise, especially for Uhuru is down to his acquittal from the International Criminal Court where he had been charged with
The poll though, was done prior to the ascension to the controversial Security Bill by the president following its chaotic passing in parliament Thursday and observers state that it could change with time.
The results will be a boost to the president who has been under fire for various reasons, especially with the rising cost of living and insecurity.
