Politicians told to keep off KTDA

Nyeri - The Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) national chairman, Peter Kanyago has asked politicians to keep off from tea issues and the agency's leadership.
Kanyago said running of KTDA is transparent and does not warrant politicians’ advice.
“Some ill advised people are out to destroy KTDA. They should first learn about its model of leadership before giving their comments and poisoning other people’s mind,” said Kanyago.
Speaking at AIPCA church Chinga, Othaya, after the funeral service of his father Tiras Ng’enyi Kanyago, Kanyago asserted that KTDA was steady.
“We have people coming from different parts of the world to learn about leadership from KTDA because they have studied our model and have seen that it works,” he added.
He further asked tea factory managers to guard tea farmers’ interests first.
