Police searching for passenger who stabbed cyclist

Nyandarua - Police in Nyandarua North are looking for a passenger who inflicted serous stab wounds on a motorcycle taxi operator on Wednesday.
Benson Kibe, aged 23 years was attacked by a client he was ferrying on a motorbike at Ndaragwa area, Nyandarua County.
Nyandarua North OCPD Mr Benjamin Onsongo said Kibe, 23, was stabbed several times on the nape and legs before the attacker escaped. The victim was admitted at the Nyahururu district hospital.
“The client had hired the operator to ferry him to the interior and turned against him with a knife inflicting him serious injuries on the nape and legs,” Onsongo said in his office.
Mr Onsongo said the motive of the attack remained unclear but added that the attacker is well known to the victim since he worked in the area before relocating to unknown place.
