Nairobi - Police have busted a Nairobi car theft syndicate in the city's Kayole district.
The syndicate was busted after Police traced a car stolen earlier to a yard belonging to a businessman called Fatri Omondi.
Inn the yard were found three vehicles, a Toyota Lexus, Probox and Wish.
The Vehicles were stolen in different time frames, leaving Kayole Police boss Eshiphan Gichohi to conclude that it was likely part of a larger car stealing syndicate.
" We have found this cell and we believe that it is likely linked to a larger car theft syndicate," he said.
Persons arrested were Josephat Kimani who was allegedly found driving one of the vehicles found.
Two other suspects were also arrested at the yard which is in the Mihango area of Kayole.
