Pilot killed as plane crashes into Limuru radio transmission station

Nairobi - A pilot was killed after a plane crashed into a radio transmission station in Limuru Sunday.
The Pilot was alone in the plane that crashed into the transmission station which houses several radio stations.
The accident caused Radio Africa LTD, which has several radio stations to go off air from Sunday afternoon, as was a number of other radio stations.
The identity of the pilot was not known.
The plane was registered 5Y-MDC and was headed according to reports to Nairobi after the pilot had dropped some passengers at Oserian
Police at the scene said that the likely cause of the accident was poor visibility since the area has been experiencing dense fog in the last few days.
