Pastor steals food for his followers

Nairobi - A pastor in western Uganda is on the run after being found with stolen bunches of banana in his store.
The bunches were reportedly set to be used to feed his followers since he was about to hold a Crusade. One of his neighbors, Damalie Muruga said that wherever he held crusades, food was stolen from their gardens and they have always been suspecting that he is responsible.
This time, pastor Sunday Kulovisi attached to Mungu Mwema Jerusalem Pentecostal Church in Nyantungo sub-county, Kenjojo distrct 300 km west of Kampala, ran out of lack.
The police officer in charge of Kyenjojo police station, Hassan Mugerwa said that the owner of stolen bunches of banana ,Joesph Baguma 60, on realizing that his bananas had been stolen went to report to police.
''We deployed policemen with a sniffer dog to look for the thief. On reaching the pastors house, the dog entered his store where the bananas had been kept.'' said Mugerwa.
On realizing that police were at his store where he had kept the stolen bananas, he fled his house through the hind door and up to now his whereabouts ate unknown.
