Nairobi - Neno Evangelism Centre's Pastor James Ng'ang'a's cse has been forwarded to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions DPP.
" The file has been forwarded to the office of the DPP who will decide on the way forward," Police Insepctor General Joseph Boinett told News24 on phone Saturday.
He said that his officers had done the required investigations into the matter and that it was up to the DPP Keriako Tobiko to state the way forward.
" It is now to him to decide the way forward. If he needs some more investigation done, he will say. If not, he will also say, Boinett added.
Ng'ang'a is in hot water over an apparent incident in which he was allegedly involved in an accident near Limuru which saw one woman killed.
There has however been controversy after Tigoni police placed one Simon Maina Kuria behind the wheel
of the Range Rover vehicle which was involved in the head on collision which saw Mercy Njeri, a passenger killed.
Witnesses though, some who have recorded statements with the
police insist that it is the pastor who was driving the vehicle at the
time of the accident, and that he was quickly whisked away from the scene immediately after the accident by friends, allegations he flat out denies.
