Nairobi - Pastor James Ng'ang'a has been sued for failing to pay lawyers fees in his defence of a case in which he is accused of killing through dangerous driving.
Ng'ang'a has been sued by former lawyer Cliff Ombeta who claims that he has not been paid his KES 5.1 million fees by the controversial pastor.
Ombeta told News24 on phone that Ng'ang'a has claimed he is not financially able, which is false.
" He says he is not financially able which is false and I will sue to get my pay," he stated.
Ombeta had earlier opted out of the case, saying he did not feel it had any direction to it.
Calls to Ng'ang'a's team were not answered.
The pastor is out on a KES 500,000 cash bail for allegedly trying to evade justice by escaping the killing of a woman through dangerous driving in Limuru three months ago.
