Nairobi - Parliament buildings among other landmarks are being targeted by terrorists, a report by the Anti Terror Police Unit says.
Other places being targetted by the Al Shabaab terror group include Muthurwa market, Nairobi Pentecostal Church and the University of Nairobi.
The four are allegedly among the Al Shabaab's key targets.
Other targets for the group's "high scale attacks" are Holy Family Basilica and St Andrews PCEA Church.
This all arose from a situation report signed by Central Police Station OCPD Paul Wanjama dated April 23, 2015 in News24's possession.
Wanjama admitted that there has been intelligence on the attacks and urged vigilance from Kenyans.
" We have received intelligence to that effect and are on high alert, he said Monday.
The report further states that the Shabaab has dispatched spies from its elite intelligence unit to launch the attacks.
News24, sought to find out if Parliament had received the reports and sources said that it had indeed been informed and that they are currently in a heightened state of caution.
" We have received the reports and have raised security levels, a source at parliament police station that did not want to be named said.
The University of Nairobi has been on high alert prior to the attacks on the Garissa University College and has maintained its security level.
The Shabaab is keen on hitting Kenya again, just a few weeks after the attack in Garissa that saw 148 people killed.
