Nairobi - Ulinzi Stars interim coach Francis Onyiso is confident that the team will return to winning ways after last weekend’s 2-1 loss to former champions Tusker FC.
The loss was the first for Ulinzi who were under Coach Salim Ali before his resignation.
However, Onyiso said that he was impressed with how the players played.
“We played well and created many chances. We only need to be more composed in front of goal and convert the chances we get. I expect an improvement against Thika,” he said in a statement posted on the team’s website.
He said the team is determined to register good results in the title race.
“We are not out of the race because we have only played six games. I know we will recover because we have a lot of self belief,” added Onyiso.
Ulinzi will face Thika United at the weekend.
