One Garissa University attack victim remains unidentified

Nairobi - One body is yet to be identified at the Chiromo mortuary of a victim of the Garissa University College attack.
The body has not been identified and is also yet to be claimed at the Chiromo mortuary by any family, workers at the mortuary told News24.
The body, that of a girl has not identity also, as efforts by the government to search in the national data base have been futile.
" There is one body here. That of a girl. No one has claimed it and also we do not know who she is because the national database results have come back negative for her fingerprints, a mortuary worker," not able to speak officially said.
All the other 147 bodies that passed through the facility have been claimed by the respective families and the victims buried.
The attack which took place April 2, 2015 also brought about the issue of the exact number of dead, with many stating that the 148 number was far less than the actual number of dead.
