Nairobi - A Jubilee member of parliament has said that President Obama’s visit to Kenya endorsed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election in 2017.
Kuresoi north MP, Moses Cheboi said that President Obama has developed and found lasting trust in President Kenyatta and his government and by visiting Kenya, he wanted to drive the point home that he supports the Jubilee government.
Speaking Sunday in Nakuru town, Cheboi said that Kenyatta will have a smooth sail in 2017 because the American government will be fully behind him.

“Just by visiting Kenya, Obama has shown that he is fully behind the government of Uhuru Kenyatta and his liking for this government shows that America will support Uhuru in 2017. The opposition thought that America will always support them but Obama’s support for the government of the day has left them with open mouths,” said Cheboi.
Cheboi added that Kenyatta has proven himself the best President in Africa, something that has made him a darling of the west.
“The western world cannot just resist Kenya and this has been activated by the leadership of President Kenyatta and his government and I can tell you that more and more leaders will continue trooping to Kenya after Obama,” he said.
