ODM to release Jubilee scorecard

14 April 2014, 09:09 William Korir

Nairobi - The Orange Democratic Movement ODM will release a scorecard on the ruling Jubilee coalition this week as it seeks to state its stand on the current state of the nation.

The release of the report, dubbed 'Still running on lies' will be released Tuesday by the opposition outfit.

It is expected that the report will state the deficiencies of the current government and blunders that have been made in the last one year in power.

Further, there will also be a report on projects that the current government has called its own but which were apparently started during the Kibaki- Raila grand coalition government.

The current state of insecurity in the country will also be addressed, with the opposition party keen to draw a line on the current problems.

" The report will be extensive and will be delivered Tuesday. There are many things that the public does not know which will be revealed, a source privy to the report and its contents said.

Acting ODM party leader Prof. Anyang Nyong'o has previously called the Jubilee government clueless and wasteful and urged public inquest into the government's dealings.

The report has been written by a well known expert and according to Nyong'o will not have any malicious content.

" The report will only state the truth of the current state of government. There is no malice and there is no falsehoods, he said.

The government, during its one year in office celebrations said that there is lots to celebrate and that things are moving on the right track, despite rising debt, increased insecurity and huge cases of corruption and graft.
