Nyota Ndogo stripped by revelers

28 July 2014, 15:25 Mbungu Harrison

Mombasa - Mombasa-based star and singer, Nyota Ndogo was Sunday attacked and stripped off her buibui when a reveler mistook her for a prostitute at a hotel in Mombasa.

According to a close male friend identified as Mwinyi and who had accompanied her for a cup of tea at the hotel, the unknown people were claiming that a prostitute who whose description fitted Nyota Ndogo, had  stolen KES 200 000 from him on friday night and was demanding the cash back from the star.

Drama unfolded when the star exchanged tough words with the accusers but fortunately some guys who were around protected her from the insult.

Nyota Ndogo claimed that there is no way she could have been the one since she left Voi Saturday evening.

Mwinyi had to claim he was Nyota Ndogo's husband in a bid to defend her.

Nyota Ndogo had to show her ID to the crowd before the reveler could withdraw his false accusations.

The incident was reported to the police and is now under investigation.

Nyota Ndogo is currently in Nairobi organising her European Tour.
