Nyong'o will sting Ruto

14 May 2015, 13:11 William Korir

Nairobi - Leave Raila Odinga out of Jubilee mess, Kisumu Senator Anyang Nyong'o has told Deputy President William Ruto.

Nyong'o said in a statement Thursday that DP Ruto had formed a habit of blaming Raila for things he has not done when he has fallen into trouble.

He was reacting to Ruto's claims that Raila was to blame for the KES 28 billion Eldoret Referral Hospital Scandal which has been blamed on Ruto.

" Let them be warned, I can sting like a bee. The isolation they currently face in Jubilee is not manufactured by ODM," he said in a statement Thursday.

He also claimed that Ruto looks up to Raila but when things are tight, he jumps straight on the former Prime Minister's neck.

" It is a love-hate relationship in which he always looks for the former prime minister for protection, failing which he will always outsources his problems to him. This is both "farcical" and tragic," he added.

Nyong'o also says that Ruto has a knack of not taking responsibility for anything.

" He has no apology to make on having been involved in the questionable grabbing of his neighbour's land. He has no apology to make over the teargassing of school children in Lang'ata on a land grab issue in which his name was mentioned," he said.

" I am therefore not surprised that he has no apology to make over the scam at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret."

Ruto has been accused of seeking kickbacks in the deal to upgrade the Referral Hospital but has on the other hand claimed that he stopped the deal as it was too expensive.
