Nyeri Governor lowers cost of P3 form to KES.200

Nyeri - Governor Nderitu Gachagua has reduced the cost of acquiring a police
P3 form signed in County Health facilities from KES.3,000 to KES.200.
Gachagua said he was disappointed to learn that public Health institutions
were charging KES.3,000.
“I was disappointed to learn that our hospitals have been charging those
seeking to have the P3 forms KES.3,000. This is like denying the victims
justice,” the Governor said.

The governor further announced a complete waiver of charges for victims of
domestic violence explaining that the move is aimed to ensure those seeking the
P3 forms access justice easily.
Gachagua made the remarks after his tour at the Nyeri Provincial General
Hospital (PGH) which has been upgraded to a Level five hospital, where he
assessed the level of service delivery.
He further announced that all health facilities in the county including 68
dispensaries, 24 health centres, four level 4 and one Level 5 hospitals will be
digitally interlinked in order to improve service delivery in the face of critical
