Nyang'ori Boys High School tops Vihiga County in KCSE

Vihiga - Nyang’ori High School has led in Vihiga County in the just released KCSE results after attaining a mean score of 9.9.
Mudasa Academy came in second with a mean of 9.8 while Bunyore National School registered a mean score of 9.6 to come in third.
Mudasa Academy, Mbale High School, Nyang’ori High School, Keveye Girls School and Bunyore Girls, all registered good performances.
Students of Mbale Boys, Kaimosi Boys and Mudasa Academy paralysed services in the major towns in the county as they celebrated the good results.
Mudasa Academy’s principal, Mrs Velma Mudanyi, said that all the 46 students that had been enrolled at the school had performed exceptionally well.
“We have 8 A-, 23 B+, 14 B plain, and 1 B-, showing the level of commitment the school has towards improving the academic standards in the region,” she said.
Mrs Mudanyi said that the good performance in the county had been set by the level of discipline and the fact that the county was on the path towards creating more human resource.
“Our county is very small and we don’t have so many industries around. We can only invest in education and that is why we are giving our best to our students in the county,” she said.
