Kinangop Member of Parliament David Ngugi has called on leaders in Nyandarua County to embrace and tolerate each other in order to ensure that they achieve their agenda of developing the county.
Speaking in Oljorook in an open public baraza, Ngugi said there was a need to bring all leaders together for a common good adding that it was unfortunate that a section of leaders have shown disrespect to others saying this was detrimental to the development growth of the region.
The MP was reacting to an incident in which a section of leaders allied to The National Alliance (TNA) ended a meeting in a disarray after aspirants differed over who should be appointed to the party’s election board which will oversee the forthcoming TNA nominations in the county.
He advised leaders to conduct their politics in a civil and humble manner in order to ensure that they make Nyandarua a model county.
