Party Nomination exercise for TNA in Nakuru County did not kick off on time following delays in the delivery of ballot papers and boxes.
A spot-check by the media revealed that voters started streaming to polling station as early as 5:00AM hoping to nominate their candidates for various seats before they embarked on their daily activities.
“We left our homes early to do the nominations before we report for work but is so unfortunate because there are no ballot papers and boxes, so we wonder what is going to happen next,” said one of the voter.
Other electorates left the polling stations undecided whether they will participate in the nomination exercise or not.
CORD nomination in Nakuru county are underway as expected with voters turning up for the exercise on time.
Security was well beefed up in all the polling stations in town with police cars patrolling each street in Nakuru.
