" We have seen over 70 bodies now, Baringo Red Cross coordinator Kipkemboi Morwess told News24 on phone. We are still searching for more in the rough terrain, he added.
There was also the accusation towards the police that they have failed to deal with the issue of gun carrying bandits in the area.
" Police have failed us. There had been tension in the last three weeks and nothing was done. Even now, they are nowhere to be seen, Onamei Lemaiyan, an area resident also told News24.
There was also no response from the Interior Ministry on the attacks, which are common in the area due to dwindling grazing land and resources.
