22 January 2015, 16:32
Nairobi - Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has named the Langata playground land-grabbers.
In a presser Thursday afternoon, Ngilu named the four persons as Madip Singh, Madit Singh, Haban Singh and Kamal Amrish Singh, all directors of the Airport View Housing Company LTD.
Ngilu said that the four were in charge of the fencing of the land belonging to the Langata Road Primary School in Nairobi.
Ngilu also said that the fake title they had to the land was under the company's name.
Ngilu had promised earlier to name the owners of the grabbed land, saying that she was indebted to Kenyans to provide answers as to why the land had been grabbed.
It is not yet clear what action will be taken on the directors, with the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions DPP entitled to charge them in court on behalf of the people.
