New University to be launched in Msa

A new tourism based university is to be build at Vipingo area in Kilifi County.
This has been confirmed by the Tourism and East African affairs Cabinet Secretary Phillis Kandie during her official tour to Mombasa.
Kandie said that the university will be called Ronald Ngala University and will be the first ever tourism university to be built in Kenya.
She said that this will help upgrade the tourism sector which is a major source of revenue in the region.
The Cabinet Secretary confirmed that the government has put aside KES 8 billion to be spend on the project that will take a minimum of three years to be completed.
This had been scheduled to take place by former tourism Minister Najib Balala but it never came to pass.
