National Bank to open new branch in Nakuru

The new Managing Director of the National Bank Munir Sheich has said they will soon be opening anther new branch in Nakuru County to cater the ever growing population in the town.
Speaking on Thursday afternoon during a lunch session in one of the hotels in town with the clients from Nakuru, Munir said that they are working round the clock to come up with another branch in the town because the population is quite high and investors flocking in.
The Managing Director further said that the bank was on the path of regaining its lost glory whn he said his main target was to claim the top position.
Currently National bank is in position 11 according to the rating of the most successful banks in the country.
Munir added that, the bank was also working on the electronic banking in all its branches across the country although he said the process had been hampered previously by defrauders but they were working on that.
Munir added that the bank had set aside KES 2 billion as one way of expanding the bank and systems too.
