Nairobi - It has been more than 10 years since Angela Angwenyi started
her illustrious career in the radio industry. She has won the hearts and minds
of her listeners, making her one of the biggest radio personalities, right up there
with the likes of Maina Kageni and Caroline Mutoko.
Her fans, friends and
colleagues in the radio industry have come together to thank her for her many
years of service as a radio presenter.
She made a few posts on social media as she hosted her very
last show on radio earlier today during her State of the Nation Show on Nation FM Friday.
She wrote “And it's a wrap...thank you radio
for being kind to me, thanks to all my listeners for consistently.” She also
posted her last radio selfie on her Instagram with a post that read; “Final
studio selfie this morning. 3am mornings for 3yrs come to an end today thank
you to all who joined me on this journey, I'm grateful.#gratitude #nofilter.”
