Nairobi - We thought this day would never come after rumours arose that he had retired from the music industry but Nameless has made a huge comeback to the scene with the release of a new video.
Called 'Butterfly' which was done in Uganda, it is a fine blend between the Kenyan and Ugandan cultures, which sees the artist learn some Luganda to woo a young lady.
" East African artist Nameless has always had a very close relationship with Uganda. During one of his many tours, a Ugandan fan challenged him to learn some Luganda. This inspired the idea to this song. Butterfly (kiwojolo) is a love song from a man to a woman of a different background. The man needs to learn her language to communicate his feelings to her. He also teaches her his language, a statement from the song's publishers reads.
The video is simple and fun with a good helping of love and romance. Through the video, it is evident that Nameles hasn’t lost his touch when it comes to music.
