Nairobi - Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery has told his Lands counterpart Charity Ngilu and Lands Commission chair Mohammed Swazuri to name the Langata land grabber by Thursday.
Nkaissery has said that Kenyans need to know which individual has grabbed public land and that it is the duty of the two officials to name the person or persons.
He says that he has given the two until Thursday evening to name the person.
" Kenyans need to know who has grabbed the land and it is the Lands Ministry and Lands Commission that know who the person is. They must let the name out as soon as possible," he said.
" They have the name in their possession so I hand them up to Thursday evening to name the individual," he added.
So far, politicians have steered clear of the name of the individual involved, with even president Uhuru Kenyatta drawing clear of the matter.
MPs have already said that they will censure Ngilu and Swazuri if they do not name the person behind the land grab.
